Government Project Delivery Function and Profession

The Government Project Delivery Function and Profession is led by The National Infrastructure and Service Transformation Authority (NISTA), the government's centre of expertise for infrastructure, transformation and major projects. NISTA works in partnership with government departments and organisations to strengthen project delivery capability and improve the successful delivery of projects and programmes.

The Government Project Delivery Function is a community of more than 26,000 civil and public servants from many professions all working together to deliver complex projects and programmes across government to achieve better outcomes for the public. All training must be booked by 31 January 2027 and completed by 31 October 2027. Training of 12 months duration or less is available to book now on the Booking Portal. Training that is longer than 12 months may be available on a case-by-case basis, provided it is complete by 31 October 2027. Find out more about affected courses.
