Operational Delivery Profession

Operational Delivery Profession (ODP) is the largest profession in government and its members are often the public face of public service. There are a huge range of jobs held by civil servants working in this profession, from a Job Centre Manager to a Data Analyst. ODP is inclusive, flexible, modern and connected - sitting at the heart of public service delivery.

As a Profession, ODP has worked closely with departments to make sure that the learning is suitable across all job roles, grades and departments.

All training must be booked by 31 January 2027 and completed by 31 October 2027. Training of 12 months duration or less is available to book now on the Booking Portal. Training that is longer than 12 months may be available on a case-by-case basis, provided it is complete by 31 October 2027. Find out more about affected courses.
