Bespoke learning for Operational Delivery leaders

The Operational Delivery Profession (ODP) is committed to defining excellence in service delivery and improving the readiness of Directors to take on ODP Director General roles.

The ODP had worked with EY to design and build OpDel Excel. Successfully launched in December 2021, OpDel Excel became the most experiential senior Civil Servant course to date, focusing on ambitious, stretching and immersive experiences (bringing to life the 70:20:10 model) through highly personalised learning.

Delivered in partnership with King's College London, OpDel Excel has been designed to complement rather than duplicate existing Civil Service leadership offers. Its primary focus is on building the critical skills required for senior ODP leaders. 

So far, the project has encouraged increased collaboration between different teams within ODP and is supported by hugely enthusiastic senior stakeholders who are passionate about the pipeline of ODP talent.

Coaching

EY have created a community of inspiring coaches to support the bespoke learning needs of civil servants. A range of clearly defined coaching packages to support Departments, Professions and Functions get the best coaches in order to meet their needs and budgets. Packages can be tailored to meet the needs of departments who wish to ‘bulk buy’ coaching services.
