This product is not available via the Learning Frameworks service after 31 December 2025. We suggest bookings are made six weeks before the start date of the learning, so by 19 November 2025.

The contract that facilitates this service ends on 30 April 2026. Because of this, there will be some changes to the learning available to book. We expect that you will be able to book this product again once the new contract is live.

This Fire Warden/ Marshal Training course is crafted to equip you with the essential skills and knowledge required to ensure fire safety in the workplace and effectively handle fire emergencies. Fire safety is a fundamental responsibility that protects lives, property, and organisational continuity. Fires can escalate rapidly, and the risks extend beyond physical harm, impacting business operations, insurance, and overall safety culture.

Throughout this course, you will gain a deep understanding of fire regulations and learn how to fulfil your role as a Fire Warden/Marshal. This includes recognising fire hazards, understanding the chemistry of fire, and being aware of how human behaviour affects fire response. You’ll explore fire safety features within buildings, from fire-resistant materials to emergency lighting, and learn how to identify and use the appropriate extinguishers.

By the end of this course, you will have the confidence to conduct fire risk assessments, maintain fire safety records, organise evacuation procedures, and assist vulnerable individuals during emergencies. You will also understand how to coordinate effectively with emergency services, ensuring that your workplace is a safe environment for all.
