Overview
Off the shelf (OTS)
This course is designed for DevOps engineers, system administrators, cloud engineers, and IT professionals who want to learn infrastructure as code (IaC) principles using Terraform to provision, manage, and automate cloud infrastructure efficiently.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) and basic command line skills are recommended.
The Terraform Training Course introduces participants to the fundamentals of Terraform for defining and provisioning infrastructure through declarative configuration files. The course covers Terraform architecture, providers, resource management, state files, variables, and modules. Participants will gain hands-on experience in building and deploying infrastructure as code, managing infrastructure lifecycle, and integrating Terraform into continuous deployment workflows.
Key Topics Covered:
• Overview of Terraform and infrastructure as code concepts
• Installing and configuring Terraform
• Writing and organizing Terraform configuration files
• Managing Terraform state and remote backends
• Using variables, outputs, and modules for reusable infrastructure
• Deploying infrastructure to cloud providers and handling lifecycle management
The course is delivered over two days and includes practical exercises and real-world examples to reinforce concepts.
