Overview

Off the shelf (OTS)

This two day, hands on programme provides delegates with a solid and practical introduction to PowerPivot, enabling them to move beyond standard Excel reporting and begin working confidently with large datasets, relationships and data models. The course is designed for users who already understand PivotTables and want to extend that knowledge into more powerful, scalable and automated analysis.
Across the two days, delegates learn how to import and combine data from multiple sources, build robust data models, create relationships, and apply DAX calculations to produce richer, more dynamic insights.

The course emphasises practical application, showing participants how to leverage their existing Excel skills while adopting the enhanced capabilities that PowerPivot offers.
Through guided exercises and real world examples, delegates explore how PowerPivot can streamline reporting, reduce manual data manipulation, and support more consistent, repeatable analysis. By the end of the course, participants will not only understand the core features of PowerPivot but will also be able to identify where and how it can be applied within their own workplace to improve reporting efficiency and decision making.
