This course covers the 3 main approaches to analysing and modelling data: entity relationship modelling, analysis class modelling and normalisation of data. You’ll learn about approaches that reflect business users’ needs and priorities, as well as exploring the more mechanistic approach offered by normalisation and the techniques used to validate data against stated requirements.

Successful completion of this course requires access an external online assessment. The online assessment platform may not be accessible on Civil Service department IT due to security restrictions.
