Juniper Advanced Data Centre Switching

Overview

Off the shelf (OTS)

This 5-day course provides a comprehensive focus on Juniper Networks data centre switching technologies. The first 2-days are designed to introduce the data centre features including zero touch provisioning (ZTP), unified in-service software upgrade (ISSU), multi-chassis link aggregation (MC-LAG), Mixed Virtual Fabric, and Virtual Chassis Fabric (VCF). The third day of the course is designed to provide learners with advanced knowledge of troubleshooting key data centre features including MC-LAG, Virtual Chassis, and VCF deployments. The last 2-days of the course are designed to introduce data centre features that are more advanced including IP Fabric, Virtual extensible Local Area Network (VXLAN) Layer 2 and Layer 3 Gateways, VXLAN with Ethernet VPN (EVPN) signalling, and Data Centre Interconnect (DCI) for a VXLAN overlay.

Learners will learn to configure and monitor these features on the Junos operating system running on the QFX5100, EX4300, and VMX Series platforms. Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, learners will gain experience configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting, and analysing the mentioned features of the Junos OS. This content is based on Junos OS release 13.2X51-D21.1 and 14.1X53 Virtual Learning.

This interactive training can be taken from any location, your office or home and is delivered by a trainer. This training does not have any learners in the class with the instructor, since all participants are virtually connected. Virtual learners do not travel to this course, Global Knowledge will send you all the information needed before the start of the course and you can test the logins.
