Off the shelf (OTS)

ICS613: ICS Penetration Testing & Assessments introduces information and operational security professionals to the tactics, techniques, and procedures for conducting penetration testing and security assessments in networks with active processes. Penetration tests in business environments are structured to avoid outages primarily because of the monetary impacts on the organization. However, outages within industrial control networks are more concerned with the consequences of an outage. These consequences potential include loss of life and injury to personnel and could also have a dangerous environmental impact. This situation is exacerbated by fragile equipment and protocols in these networks.
