It’s increasingly possible for online fraudsters to piece together knowledge about us from the pieces of information we share through social media and digital services. By sharing this information, we put ourselves at risk of fraud and cybercrime. A few simple tweaks to our mobile devices and digital services can greatly improve online safety and restrict the personal data that we share.

This course is designed to improve your awareness of digital and online data privacy. You’ll explore how easy it can be for others to obtain your personal data and how to reduce the risks of data theft by altering your digital behaviour.
