The course also provides a practical understanding of: how to conduct threat and vulnerability assessments, business impact analyses and risk assessments; the principles of controls and risk treatment; the use of information classification schemes; and how to present the results in a format which will form the basis of a business case for a risk treatment plan.

Learners will be required to demonstrate their knowledge and practical application of these concepts by undertaking a scenario-based online assessment.
