Overview

Cross Civil Service

Civil Service projects are expected to deliver a wide range of benefits to society. It’s therefore important to focus on desired outcomes and benefits throughout a project’s entire lifecycle as there will be influences and changes that could steer it in a new direction. By maintaining this focus, a project is more likely to be delivered on time and on budget.

This course explores the role of projects in government, helping you understand what’s meant by outcomes and benefits and how these are achieved and realised. You’ll learn how to identify project outcomes and benefits and how to remain focused on them throughout an entire project, not just at the beginning and end.

Please refer to the course flyer for a full description of the learning.
