Overview
Off the shelf (OTS)
This course is for those that have carried out APMG AgilePM Foundation V2 and want to go on to do Practitioner V3.
The APMG AgilePM course provides a comprehensive introduction to both the Scrum framework and Agile Project Management (AgilePM). Participants will gain the essential knowledge needed to work effectively within Scrum teams while also understanding how to manage projects using AgilePM. Version 3 of AgilePM saw a significant evolution and enhancement of the framework, including the latest advancements in agile methodologies, project management, business practices, and technology to embrace a shift to a more human-centered approach.
To bridge the changes between the two versions, the Agile Business Consortium have created a new one-day conversion course which addresses the gaps in knowledge between version 2 and version 3. Past v2 candidates who have undertaken the conversion course can be booked onto the standard v3 Foundation and Practitioner exams. For v2 Foundation candidates:
• v2 Foundation candidates take the conversion course and are then eligible to take the v3 Foundation exam, reducing their commitment from 3 days to 1.
For v2 Practitioner candidates:
• v2 Practitioner candidates take the conversion course and are then eligible to take the v3 Practitioner exam, reducing their commitment from 5 days to 1 (this option should only be considered when the delegate is experienced in AgilePM and/or have taken the v2 course very recently – this is left to the ATO to decide); or
• v2 Practitioner candidates take the conversion course, followed by a 2-day v3 Practitioner course, and are then eligible to take the v3 Practitioner exam, reducing their commitment from 5 days to 3.
