Macroeconomics Refresher and Update

The goal of the course is to build an understanding of the mechanisms that determine the evolution of the macroeconomic environment.
The course allows participants to become familiar with major economic trends and develop a critical view on key economic issues.

Overview

Off the shelf (OTS)

The course starts with an analysis of long-term trends in demographics and technology. It then moves into the analysis of economic fluctuations and economic policy (fiscal and monetary policy). In the last part of the course we put all these concepts together to address some of the most important current economic events.
