Advanced Policy Basecamp is targeted at policy professionals SEO-G6 who are experienced in a policy and strategy role. The content is based on the Policy Profession Standards and to enhance understanding of how policy is developed within your department. The methodology encourages structured policy making through clarity on situation, evidence, options and solutions.

It develops skills from 'Policy Foundations' to Level 3 on the Policy Profession Standards.

The one -day course covers the strategic picture, policy process, developing and delivering policy. It does this through active participation on a departmental case study.
