This 8-day programme, and associated assessments is a nationally recognised qualification awarded by Pearson (formally Edexcel). The Advanced Professional Certificate in Investigative Practice (APCIP) is regarded as the leading professional qualification for personnel with an investigative role.
To date, over 4,000 investigators from a range of government agencies and commercial organisations have successfully completed this qualification.
Made up of 8 days’ face to face training, the qualification is broken up into four 2-day modules and 4 post course written assessments. The programme is usually undertaken over a 4 to 12 month period.
Successful completion of this course requires access an external online assessment. The online assessment platform may not be accessible on Civil Service department IT due to security restrictions.
