Off the shelf (OTS)
This qualification is designed for practicing middle managers, helping them to develop their skills and experience, improve performance and prepare for senior management responsibilities. Those in middle to senior management roles face a multitude of challenges on a day to day basis, whilst being accountable for driving motivation and achieving goals throughout the organisation as well as their teams.
The workshops are highly participative, using facilitated discussion, presentations, case studies, videos and group work. The workshops promote reflective review, and encourage learners to proactively find opportunities to apply the learning in the workplace.
Learners are supported with action learning sessions and will complete work-based learning assignments, which are assessed and verified in order to achieve their accreditation.
Successful completion of this course requires access an external online assessment. The online assessment platform may not be accessible from Civil Service department IT due to security restrictions.
