Internal Coach Development Programme – Professional Accreditation
Accredited by EMCC Global | Aligned with the Association for Coaching (AC)

This practical, flexible programme forms the first half of the Certificate in Executive Coaching and is recognised by both EMCC Global and the Association for Coaching (AC). It leads directly to EMCC Foundation Individual Accreditation (EIA), with all requirements embedded in the training and no separate application needed. It also fulfils the training and reflective practice requirements for the AC Leader Coach Accreditation Scheme, offering a credible pathway for leaders and managers applying coaching in organisational settings.

Ideal for new or returning coaches, managers, and internal practitioners, the programme builds confidence, coaching capability, and a clear route to professional recognition with two leading coaching bodies.

Delivery Options
Choose the format that suits your schedule and learning style:

Digital Only
Self-paced online learning with pre-recorded lessons, structured module release, and personalised feedback from faculty. Includes practice tasks and homework to build skills between modules.

Blended Virtual
A cohort-based, interactive programme combining live workshops, peer learning, and digital assignments. Delivered over three months as six fortnightly, three-hour online sessions with access to a virtual learning environment.

Programme Purpose
Gain the knowledge, confidence, and practical tools to begin coaching and achieve Foundation accreditation. The programme also supports previously trained coaches who wish to consolidate their learning and secure formal recognition.

5. Coaching in the Moment – Practising presence and adaptability
6. Coaching in Organisations – Systems thinking and organisational impact

A final digital module covers ethics, CPD, supervision, and accreditation pathways.

Programme Awards and Accreditation
This programme is recognised by both EMCC Global and the Association for Coaching (AC), offering two credible routes to individual accreditation:

EMCC Global
This programme is accredited by EMCC Global at Foundation level (EQA). The requirements for individual accreditation are built into the training, and successful graduates are awarded EMCC Foundation Individual Accreditation (EIA) without needing to submit a separate application, subject to EMCC membership. Participants with prior coaching experience may be considered for a higher level through evidence mapping.

Association for Coaching
Aligned with the AC Coaching Competency Framework, this programme provides the required training hours, reflective practice, and portfolio preparation to support a successful application for the AC Leader Coach Accreditation Scheme: a route designed for leaders and managers applying coaching in organisational settings.

Graduates leave with practical coaching experience, the confidence to coach in real-world contexts, and a recognised pathway to professional accreditation with two leading coaching bodies.
