EMCC Coach Bridging Programme
A fast-track route to EMCC accreditation for qualified coaches.

Programme Purpose
The purpose of the programme is to conduct a benchmarking exercise that enables practicing coaches to gain EMCC accreditation at the level of their existing ability and qualification.

Who should participate in this programme?
This programme is a step-by-step process for coaches who have trained with ILM or another provider who wish to gain accreditation with EMCC.

How is this achieved?
The centrepiece of this process is the submission of a recorded coaching session. You will also complete an online application. This is assessed independently and will result in detailed professional feedback. If the submission meets agreed standards, you will be recommended to EMCC for accreditation.

coaching session.

• You will receive a written report containing feedback designed to be helpful, highlighting some of your strengths and also potential areas for development.
• If the recording is not at the required level, then there are a few possible scenarios:
• resubmit another recording for assessment
• accreditation at a lower level
• recommendation for further training

Stage 4. Declaration.
Before we can recommend you for individual accreditation with EMCC Global, you will submit a declaration of commitment to standards relating to ethics, diversity, record keeping, supervision, CPD, and professional practice.

Stage 5. Accreditation
Unless otherwise agreed, candidates will be automatically recommended for accreditation at the level that is equivalent to their existing qualification. Electronic accreditation documents will be sent by EMCC directly to the candidate by email within three months.
