This product is not available via the Learning Frameworks service after 31 October 2025. We suggest bookings are made six weeks before the start date of the learning, so by 19 September 2025.

The contract that facilitates this service ends on 30 April 2026. Because of this, there will be some changes to the learning available to book. We expect that you will be able to book this product again from May 2026, once the new contract is live.

Methodology
A 12-month, cohort-based virtual learning journey that blends live workshops, group dialogue, recorded practice, and reflective learning. The programme is experiential and relational, grounded in deep inquiry, peer engagement, and developmental feedback.

Format
The course includes 20 live, online workshops (3 hours each), two recorded supervision sessions submitted for feedback, and substantial peer supervision practice. Participants maintain a reflective journal, contribute to a learning community, complete quizzes and written assignments, and undertake a final self-assessment. Total learning time is approximately 150 hours.

Programme Purpose
To develop experienced coaches into confident, qualified supervisors—able to support the ethical, developmental, and emotional wellbeing of other practitioners.

Who Should Attend This Programme?
• Coaches accredited at EMCC Senior Practitioner, ICF PCC, ILM Level 7, or equivalent
• Those seeking to expand into coaching supervision as a professional specialism
• Coaches ready to deepen their reflective capacity, relational awareness, and systemic insight

Programme Components
• 20 x live online workshops (3 hours each)
• 2 x recorded supervision sessions with written faculty feedback
• 40 hours of 1:1 supervision practice
• 10 hours of group supervision practice
• Ongoing reflective journal and 20 short online quizzes
• 2,000-word reflective essay and self-assessment
• Participation in an online learning environment with tutor and peer support

1. Foundations of Supervision
Core principles, the 7-Eyed Model, EMCC competencies, and supervision contracting

2. Functions of Supervision
Understanding and integrating the normative, formative, and restorative functions

3. The Relational Approach
Parallel process, psychodynamic insight, and relational presence in supervision

4. Supervising Groups
Designing and facilitating group supervision with attention to dynamics and safety

5. Your Supervision Approach
Creative techniques, use of metaphor, and development of a personal supervision model

6. Supervision in Action
Professional practice, ethics, record-keeping, final presentations, and review

Programme Award
This diploma is accredited with the EMCC ESQA award and forms a complete training pathway toward individual supervisor accreditation.

Individual Accreditation
Graduates who meet the following criteria will be supported in applying for EMCC Global Individual Supervisor Accreditation (ESIA):
• EMCC membership
• At least 120 hours of supervision delivered
• A minimum of 10 supervisees
