This advanced programme supports the integration of supervision theory and practice, helping you develop your distinctive supervisory style. You’ll explore creative approaches, navigate ethical dilemmas, and prepare for formal EMCC accreditation.

Who Is This Programme For?
• Coaches accredited at Senior Practitioner level (EIA SP)
• Graduates of Coaching Supervision Parts 1 and 2
• Participants completing the Diploma in Coaching Supervision (DipS) and preparing for individual supervisor accreditation with EMCC (ESIA)

Format
This three-month online programme is delivered via Microsoft Teams and includes seven live workshops, continued supervision practice, a recorded session submission, and a concluding 1:1 faculty tutorial.

• 7 x experiential, 3-hour online modules
• Ongoing supervision of individuals and groups
• Reflective journal and online quizzes
• Recorded supervision session for assessment
• Written self-assessment against EMCC competencies
• Final tutorial with a course faculty member

Session Overview
1. Your Supervision Model – Part 1 – Developing and applying a personal model
2. Creative Approaches I – Working with freedom, spontaneity, and uncertainty
3. Creative Approaches II – Experimenting with metaphor, movement, and imagery
4. Ethical Dilemmas – Navigating complexity with ethical maturity
5. Professional Practice – CPD, supervision, record-keeping, and sustainability
6. Your Supervision Model – Part 2 – Presenting, refining, and receiving feedback
7. Graduation – Integration, reflection, and learning from the 12-month journey

Assessment
Assessment is cumulative and developmental. It includes attendance and participation, submission of a recorded session, reflective journaling, a written self-assessment, and a final tutorial. Faculty use all contributions to assess supervisory readiness.

Pathway to Accreditation
This programme is the final module of the Diploma in Coaching Supervision. Upon successful completion and subject to meeting experience criteria, you will be recommended to EMCC Global for supervisor accreditation (ESIA).

Eligibility
To receive ESIA accreditation, participants must hold EIA Senior Practitioner (EIA SP) status as a coach. This can be obtained during the programme. A bridging route is available for those not yet accredited.

Successful completion of this course requires access an external online assessment. The online assessment platform may not be accessible from Civil Service department IT due to security restrictions.
