Focus Areas
This course deepens your supervision practice through relational and psychodynamic approaches and introduces the principles and complexities of supervising groups of coaches.
Who Is This Programme For?
• Coaches who have completed the Foundation Certificate in Coaching Supervision
• Supervisors working toward EMCC ESIA accreditation
• Coaching professionals progressing toward Senior Practitioner level
Format
Delivered over three months via Microsoft Teams, this programme includes six live workshops, continued supervision practice, and a final reflective essay with case study integration.

• 6 x interactive, 3-hour live modules
• Reflective journal entries with faculty input
• 6 online quizzes to embed learning
• Peer discussion and engagement in an online forum
• Practice supervising groups of coaches
• Ongoing 1:1 supervision with existing supervisees
• Final 2,000-word reflective essay with integrated case study
Session Overview
1. Parallel Process – Recognising and working explicitly with parallel dynamics
2. Psychodynamic Approach – Concepts including defences, transference, and projection
3. The Relational Lens – Narrative identity, relational presence, and social constructionism
4. Groups: Practicalities – Contracting, containment, and group facilitation structure
5. Groups: Dynamics – Group complexity, systemic insight, and collective intelligence
6. Groups: Practice – Live supervision practice, risk-taking, and feedback in action
Assessment
Assessment includes participation, journal entries, supervisee feedback, quizzes, a self-assessment, and a final reflective essay. The programme concludes with a review and feedback session with faculty.
Pathway to Accreditation
Completion of this programme is a key step toward accreditation as a professional supervisor. Final accreditation is awarded on completion of Part 3: Senior Practitioner Certificate in Coaching Supervision – Professional Accreditation.
Eligibility
Applicants must have completed Part 1: Foundation Certificate in Coaching Supervision.
