This digital module outlines what identity and access management (IAM) is, its purpose and importance. It explores the risks of ineffectively setting out IAM principles to your organisation’s data systems and services. It details the benefits of a role-based controls approach and leading practices for implementing controls.
Identity and Access Management Fundamentals assessment is made up of 10 multiple-choice questions selected from a bank of 30 questions, there is an 80% pass mark required.
Successful completion of this course requires access an external online assessment. The online assessment platform may not be accessible from Civil Service department IT due to security restrictions.
