Overview

Off the shelf (OTS)

The Certificate in Corporate Finance is recognised by the FCA as a qualification for professionals to develop a thorough understanding of corporate finance.

Paper 1 - Understand the UK regulatory environment and FCA conduct of business sourcebook. Explores corporate governance and business ethics, with an overview of areas including takeovers, mergers, prospectuses, and equity capital markets.

Exemptions: Holders of a Financial Services Skills Commission (FSSC) appropriate examination (e.g. the ACA qualification) will be granted full exemption credit against this stage and may proceed to the Diploma stage.

The Qualification: There are two units within the Certificate: Unit 1 is Corporate Finance Regulation and Unit 2 is Corporate Finance Technical Foundations.

**Both need to be completed to gain the certificate
