1) Target Audience
This course is designed for professionals who have recently completed any course within the AI, Power Apps, Data Analytics, DevOps, or Cyber Security training family and are ready to apply their learning to real workplace challenges. It is ideal for those who are confident with the theory but want structured expert guidance as they tackle their first live projects.
2) Pre-requisites
Completion of a relevant prior course is required. Suitable preceding courses include, but are not limited to: Power BI, Power Automate, Fabric, Azure, Synapse, Copilot, AI Agent Building, Databricks, Kubernetes, Docker, DevOps, Terraform, Ansible, and Cyber Security.
3) Course Description
The Applied Practice Day bridges the gap between classroom learning and real-world application. Working individually or in small groups, delegates bring their own workplace data, problems, or project requirements and work through them live with an expert instructor. The agenda is shaped entirely around delegates' actual needs on the day, making every session immediately relevant and practical.
4) Objectives / Topic Areas
• Reviewing and consolidating skills from the delegate's prior course
• Applying techniques and tools to real-world data, systems, or scenarios supplied by the delegate
• Troubleshooting common implementation challenges
• Adapting approaches to specific industry or organisational contexts
• Identifying and avoiding common mistakes and pitfalls in real-world usage
• Guided independent problem-solving with expert support
• Establishing a personal action plan for continued development
5) Delivery Format
Delivered over one day (7 hours) via virtual instructor-led sessions using Microsoft Teams or Zoom. The format is participant-driven and fluid rather than lecture-based. A maximum of six delegates per session is recommended. Delegates are encouraged to bring their own datasets, projects, or workplace challenges in advance.
