This half-day training course is designed to equip participants with a practical understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its effective management. A contextualising call must take place prior to delivery to ensure this is made relevant to the work conducted in the department.
The agenda offers a structured yet adaptable approach, catering to various levels of prior AI knowledge. The primary focus is on demonstrating and providing hands-on experience with relevant AI tools and their real-world applications within the department' context. By emphasizing practical use cases and hands-on exercises, this training aims to build confidence and empower participants to integrate AI tools seamlessly into their daily operations and enhance their overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Upon completion of this course, participants will achieve several key learning objectives.
•They will gain a solid understanding of fundamental AI concepts, including Generative AI and Machine Learning, and recognize their specific relevance to the work conducted within their workplace.
•Furthermore, participants will be able to identify the current state and strategic importance of AI within their department.
•The training will also ensure familiarity with essential AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, NotebookLM, and ChatGPT, enabling participants to recognize their practical applications for streamlining administrative tasks, enhancing public service delivery, and improving decision-making processes in their government roles.
