Advanced Presentation Skills

Overview

Off the shelf (OTS)

This course is intended to support individuals who may be expected to represent their department either publicly or in the workplace.

Presenting with impact has several meanings, dependent on perspective. Is it about the presenter or is it about the content? A few weeks or months after your presentation will your audience remember you or will they remember what you said? This course will help you to develop the skills to achieve both; a presenter with a clear message and a presenter that triggers a positive reaction from their audience.

There could be multiple answers to all those questions. Your job is to know them all before you being to shape your message. Without this foundation presenting with impact becomes something of an abstract idea rather than an achievable outcome.

Participating in this course will provide the knowledge upon which to hone your developing skills; continued focus and application of what you learn will continually polish them.

The course follows blended learning principles which includes tutor-led and self-directed learning using both virtual and face to face environments.
