Coaching is a powerful way to help the people around us to develop their skills, build on their strengths and progress their career. As a way of developing people in the workplace, it has grown in popularity in recent years as its advantages over other, more directional, approaches have become increasingly apparent.
This course is designed to help you identify opportunities for having coaching-style conversations and to capitalise on them by developing coaching skills such as rapport building, deep listening and active questioning. It shows how to create the environment within which a coachee has the space to explore a particular issue and come up with their own solutions and goals.
