Candidates who successfully complete this course of study will be able to take on all types of investigations, from the ‘basic’ to the ‘complex’, with confidence and competence. Made up of 47 learning hours, The National Certificate in Workplace Investigation™ programme comprises two hours of preparatory work, 33 hours of classroom or virtual learning, and twelve hours of post-course work. It takes candidates from preparing a robust workable plan, carrying out the fact-finding processes efficiently and sensitively, and submitting a succinct, comprehensive report of the evidence found, together with findings of fact in line with ACAS recommended practice
