Overview
Off the shelf (OTS)
The Uncertainty Experts Leadership Lab is a 3x hour facilitated session. It can either be delivered as a standalone solution (which has 3 x parts to it) or as part of a wider Uncertainty Experts Programme. The Leadership lab combines three connected components, designed to produce measurable shifts in Uncertainty Tolerance, confidence, decisiveness and adaptability inside a single engagement.
Included as one package:
1. State of Uncertainty Survey. A short pre-session diagnostic completed by each participant in advance. The State of Uncertainty Survey is a short pre-session diagnostic completed by each participant in advance. It takes about 5 minutes to complete and establishes the cohort's baseline view on uncertainty at an organisational level and how they sit and feel within that.
2. The Lab. A facilitated three-hour in-person session for up to fifty leaders. Combines short input from a senior facilitator with structured peer practice, reflective work, and case-based decision making. Includes pre- and post-assessment with live data shown to participants at the close. The Uncertainty Experts arrange the pre and post meeting directly with the commissioner.
3. The Insights Session. A structured live session for sponsors, L&D leads, and senior stakeholders. Reviews anonymised cohort data, surfaces patterns, and identifies practical next steps for embedding the work post-Lab.The Uncertainty Experts arrange this meeting directly with the commissioner.
Content covers the Fear, Fog and Stasis biological responses to uncertainty, behavioural shifts for decision making and strategic thinking, the Decisiveness Paradox, conviction narrative, and embodied practice.
Designed for senior leaders and people managers carrying decision weight in their roles. Builds change-readiness capability across decision making, strategic thinking, team collaboration, engagement, and the four drivers Uncertainty Tolerance, confidence, decisiveness and adaptability. Pre-work is light beyond the Survey. No exam, no assessment, no formal qualification applies. Maximum cohort size: fifty.
