Overview
Off the shelf (OTS)
The day will provide learners with the foundation skills and confidence to effectively deliver training for others. They will understand that people learn in different ways and adapt their training methods to suit the audience. They will have the opportunity to practice their training delivery skills with feedback from the group and the facilitator. They will also understand the differing purpose and process of coaching and mentoring approaches.
The target audience includes managers and subject matter experts who have a role in developing others – through planning and delivering short formal training sessions or addressing groups of people at work, or through coaching and mentoring.
This is a one-day session for a maximum of 6 learners who will be introduced to a range of techniques for generating learning and invited to practice these and receive feedback within a lively and supportive environment. Each learner is required to complete some preparatory work before attending the 1-day event.
