Overview
Off the shelf (OTS)
This two day programme equips first time managers with the core skills, mindsets, and practical tools to shift from doing the work to getting work done through others. Through short skill building sessions, facilitated peer dialogue, and hands on practice, participants build self awareness of how their day to day behaviours and leadership style shape team dynamics, motivation, trust, and performance. They learn to delegate with intention to build capability, autonomy, and team capacity, apply accountability approaches that create clarity, ownership, and follow through, and influence stakeholders to drive action across boundaries without relying on formal authority. Participants also practise performance coaching techniques to unlock potential and improve outcomes, and plan and conduct courageous conversations with confidence, including giving honest feedback and addressing underperformance constructively. Throughout, learning is applied to real workplace scenarios with peer and coach input, and participants leave with clear on the job commitments to use immediately.
