Overview
Off the shelf (OTS)
This programme gives you the tools to be an engaging leader who connects with others and is trusted because they say it how it is. Keeping others engaged while getting things done is hard.
It takes confidence to speak up and speak out.
It takes resilience to encourage people to keep moving forward.
It takes energy to inspire a change in direction and empathy to be there and support others when the outcome and the future is unknown.
The workshop develops the essential leadership energy and skills required to unite a diverse workforce around a shared vision. You will gain practical skills to effectively support yourself and colleagues through organisational changes.
By the end of the session, you will be able to:
•speak up with confidence
•better communicate change
•build your resilience as a leader in uncertain times
The core quality necessary for this is an embodied confidence, we call this quality, ‘confident uncertainty’; the ability to remain calm, connected and resilient when you don’t know the answer or the answer doesn’t even exist yet!
The course is not about theories of change. Whatever the change is - complex, complicated, or wicked – change makers require highly developed people skills, they are story makers who know that human beings need a narrative so they can let go of the past and choose to go on a collective journey.
On this practical workshop you will learn tools and techniques, receive feedback and coaching and with your peers, explore the communication challenges you are facing.
