The new work of leadership is more than a request to operate in a different way. It requires a mindset shift. What leaders do is critical but we know that sustained change requires a propensity to behave in a certain way and the motivation to do so for a sustained period. Our research over the last 4 decades indicates that superior performance in the workplace is governed by four, simple factors or ‘dimensions’ as shown below. This model is referred to as KF4D and grounded in research with ongoing review and validation. It provides the framework for how we help organisations define and measure the success factors of leadership.

Our professional development solution measures each of these factors and compares each participant to a success profile. These success profiles highlight ‘what good looks like’ in a role and can be taken from our library of over 4,000 and built based on existing Civil Service templates. The simple and intuitive reports provide a rich source of data to support on-going coaching conversations, development discussions, or even the identification of hidden talent or potential.
