Overview

🕮 Cross Civil Service

Creating an inclusive team environment, where every team member feels welcomed and valued, is crucial in helping a team perform to its maximum potential. A team that actively embraces diversity will be more creative and productive than its more narrowly focused counterpart. However, creating and maintaining such a culture can be more challenging in a virtual environment than in a physical one.

Part of a series of three related courses, this virtual workshop explores the barriers to inclusion that virtual working can create and how to overcome them. You’ll take part in practical exercises to understand how power can shift within a team, and the different ways in which high-quality relationships can be established.

The full series of courses – and the order you’re recommended to take them in – is: Great virtual teaming conversations; Creating an inclusive team environment; and Maximising your virtual leadership impact.

Please refer to the course flyer for a full description of the learning.
