Off the shelf (OTS)

This course will give participants greater confidence in developing and supporting new and innovative policy approaches in the post-election world. It will explore how innovation helps stimulate and enable progress in complex and uncertain policy environments. The course will discuss ways to develop creative policy options and harness what’s already emerging in the policy system, and it will consider how to create the conditions for innovative practice to continue developing and evolving. Exercises and discussion will help participants familiarise themselves with a range of techniques and consider how to apply and adapt the learning to their own departmental policy circumstances.
