Overview

Cross Civil Service

In many ways, a project can resemble a micro-business, complete with leadership structures, defined roles, activities, governance and assurance. Appreciating how these business characteristics feature within a project – and why they matter – is an important part of understanding what makes a project successful.

This course introduces you to the DNA of a typical public sector project. You’ll learn about the importance of organisational structures and how they allow for timely and effective decision-making and communication. Critical leadership roles and responsibilities will also be explored, as well as governance and assurance processes.

Please refer to the course flyer for a full description of the learning.
