International negotiations pose specific demands that practitioners need to understand and prepare for if they’re to deliver successful outcomes for the UK. Understanding your own and others’ communication styles is a crucial facet of successful negotiation.

This course is designed for anyone involved in an international negotiating team, including those providing legal, technical or analytical support. You’ll learn about the contexts, dynamics, challenges and techniques of bilateral and multilateral negotiation. There is also a particular focus on developing the communication skills required for successful negotiation.
